WHAT IS A PTO?
The District 73.5 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit, volunteer group dedicated to supporting the education of children within Skokie School District 73.5. Our goal is to foster relationships among the school, parents, teachers and staff.
Throughout the school year we will be organizing district-wide events to support this mission.
Membership in the PTO is open to everyone in the District 73.5 community.
EVENTS TO KNOW ABOUT
Events, Meetings and Fundraising Dates
Throughout the school year the PTO organizes events that will benefit the students and schools of District 73.5. In addition to these events we will have monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, event-specific planning meetings and fundraising events to fund our programming.
All members of the District 73.5 community are welcome to attend our meetings and events, and we encourage all community members to join in the planning of these events.
What Can You Do With the PTO?
The PTO welcomes involvement from all members of the District 73.5 community! Please join us at a meeting, come to an event, or help us plan an event. Email us if you have questions you'd like to see addressed at an upcoming meeting, if you would like to join one of our committees or if you have ideas you would like to share with the PTO for future events.
During the school year the PTO will be presenting the various events such as International Fest and Literacy Night, as well as coordinating book fairs at our schools. Please email us if you would like to help with the planning of these events!
